The Untold Story of Sugandha- Kerala- Voyage of Discovery

Make memories, establish your footprints and triumph over Bigotry, discriminatory and mental sickness. Travel make you modest, fragile, adoptive and give you the feeling of a real voyage of discovery. The sense of travel and exploring the new landscape with the fresh eyes gives you absolute happiness and converts you into a storyteller. If we have a “Fear” of visiting new places or suffering from “Procrastination”; always remember fear or procrastination can be temporary but “Regret” will be forever. Also, travel is not for show off, taking selfies or for social media. It gives you the lifetime heart touching experiences; which tagged with you till last breath. The blog is an exposure of real travel experiences of mine in the context of The Untold Story of Sugandha- Kerala- Voyage of Discovery.

The Untold Story of Sugandha- Kerala- Voyage of Discovery

If we want to travel the world, be the eyewitness of the beautiful nature, and see the captivating and mesmerizing things, then we have to lose the sight of the retrospect by breaking unconventional and orthodox thinking of ours.

Suggested Itinerary in Kerala:

We are four travel partners, who are looking to explore the whole state in 6 days and our main aim of travel is too offbeat ourselves and experience the beautiful nature.

Untold Story of Kerala, Day-1:

We leave from Pune around 4 PM via flight via Bangalore. It takes 5 hours to reach Cochin. We arrive at the hotel and spent 1 hour on the beach at night. We will have dinner and sleep around 11 PM and waiting for the next historic market.

Untold Story of Kerala, Day-2:

In the early morning, we have breakfast, and with the help of hotel staff, we hire open Jeep “Thar”. We are all set to arrive in Kozhikode at 8 AM. It takes 7 hours to reach our destination. But the view is so fascinating and mesmerizing that can’t be expressed in words. We become just crazy in this heaven without caring anything. Mind-blowing coastal route and palm tree are making this beautiful place as a heaven. This drive is full of happiness. We take many breaks to capture the beauty of nature in my DSLR and have lunch over the street of Ponnani. Untold Story of Kerala, Day-3:

On the say 3, we leave for Munnar; which is our next destination. Again the fantastic drive with THAR takes 8 hours to reach. The beautiful Tea-estate and cloudy sky are making this place as a paradise. This sunset in the tropical area looks gorgeous. We can’t stop ourselves to capture the memories and looking at these Lush Green Gardens. Here you have to take care after sunset. Because it is hard to see roads in the night due to lush green curves.

Untold Story of Kerala, Day-4:

Another memorable and beautiful day of my life; in the laps of Western Ghats and valley of Munnar. Our level of excitement is beyond culmination. We go to Echo Point passing through hills, greenery and beaches. It is another exciting day, and we are looking for some tracking. We decided to park the vehicle and track for the Echo Point; which is known as the highest point in Munnar. After reaching our destination, we can feel and see all the tiny mountains and gardens; which seems very small through human eyes.

To make the night more experimental, more memorable, more fanatic, we plan to stay in camp for lifetime exposure. Ans we realized, if you are tired while travelling, Sit down for a while, Stare at the moon and count the times, the moon has been travelling. BoatStay Kerala
BoatStay Kerala

It is our last day in Munnar and needs to reach Alleppey; one of the top tourist destinations in southern India. It is 6 hours from us. Road is tedious and unbelievable to Alleppey. We can feel Keralan architecture, Gabled roof and narrow corridors in the evening. We spent some time in the Marari Beach till sunset and left for Vembanad Lake for our accommodation. This time we book “houseboat”, lying in the heart of Backwater. This lake is famous for the majestic palm trees and green landscape; the biggest lake in Kerala. 5th day is our best day in Kerala. We have local food in the boat with folk Malayalam Music. I even can not forget the houseboat night; just phenomenal.

Untold Story of Kerala, Day-5:

The previous day was so heart touching that we decide to stay one more day in the houseboat and visit local villages in boat only. We find Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple; known as one of the oldest Krishna temples and 4th biggest temple in India. Fresh green lush tree-covers our boat, and we start looking for something offbeat. Our driver suggests us to ride Kayak in this Green Laps. Must wear a life jacket whenever you drive Kayak because of deep Backwater.

Every time, only one thought is coming in my mind, and I am desperate to do that, i.e., “just leave every nonsense or new sense back in life and stay to live today as an adventure for forever.”

Untold Story of Kerala, Day-6:

Our last day in Kerala and we are planning to visit one Island. It is 100 km far; so without any delay, we start our drive and reach Cochin. From there we hire ferry to Willingdon Island; known as -made island. Here you will find modern society, ports, heritage museums, local history, Island hotels, and homes. We back to cochin and visit Dutch Palace and Lulu Mall; the largest mall in India. After having dinner, we muster and capture all memories in our storage and fly for home on the same night. Enthusiastic Person Are Always Easy to Remember:

We, as a human, must understand the difference between filling our pocket with money or nourishing our soul with the lovely experiences. We have to decide either we are born to work for money or live for ourselves. Any knowledge, discovery or innovation comes from an experiment and antifragile tinkering. Therefore, let’s experiment this life and travel the world. The blog is an exposure of real travel experiences of mine in the context of The Untold Story of Sugandha- Kerala- Voyage of Discovery.
